Hi.  Is there a way to create a smart phone app that talks to Mycodo?  Interested only in Android apps to start.

Would like to have a remote control on a cell phone to do simple tasks like turning on/off the water to a specific plant using the controls created with the Mycodo UI from a cell phone.

Is anyone already doing this?  Any advice on existing android automation apps to get started?

TIA!

If you can, just making the mycodo server available via port forwarding and a nice URL will make the 'APP' basically a tab in any browser anywhere

@eap904

Not sure what you mean but I'm interested in a condensed summary version of the mycodo UI on a smartphone with a small screen.

Just need the most important functions available like turning a drip line on and off without all the extras available  on the PC  browser UI.

Recently installed Android Studio and had to upgrade the PC hardware to get it to load without errors.  That IDE looks the most promising for what I want to do so far.
