I'm building my next-gen of Aeroponics with the Mycodo interface (loving it so far), but I want my system to still allow me to grow different plants that have different requirements.

What I'm looking for is either a drop-down selector that allows me to reference the data (list) for that particular plant. (i.e. PH, EC, Humidity, Temp, Growth_Days, Development_Stage etc) .... or something with similar ease of use...

I've found a slider that I thought would allow me to manually control variables using the mouse \ touch interface, but that is fixed to a % (0-100%) and isn't suitable. I'd just like to be able to interact with the system a little at the dashboard level.

Has anyone else faced an issue like this, and if you did - what was your workaround?

There doesn't exist a dashboard widget to do this, as what you describe is very specific. However, users can create and import their own dashboard widgets. In the next Mycodo release, there will be the ability to set custom values in Conditional Functions, which can then be modified by widgets. You could then merely set and use the values from the database in the conditionals, then modify them with the widget. You can read more about this method in issue #901.

That sounds awesome - will have to post some pics once I've got warmer weather and the thing up and running.
Thanks for the awesome software!
